Lambeth Council has introduced School Streets since 2019, with 20 sites added in 2020 and 4 sites added in 2021. The School Streets are currently operating and open for everyone to use. The public can provide feedback to Lambeth Council, through the Council’s own consultation process. For the majority of existing School Streets, the time window for consultation ends on 14 December 2021.

EX-TRA surveys launched

The University of Westminster is analysing the data from your survey responses. The University will inform Lambeth Council of their findings regarding local opinion. The final research findings will be published on the project website: https://www.ex-tra-project.eu/blog.

Surveys closed, EX-TRA project continues

The EX-TRA research project (Experimenting with City Streets to Transform Urban Mobility) is studying a street space experiment implemented by the London Borough of Lambeth, which provides car-free space outside a local school, by closing streets to traffic during drop-off and pick-up times.
